I think a lot of folks on here also use Bring a Trailer. It just tried to install suspicious software on my Macbook Air - so heads-up, I wouldn't go there for a bit until they get it sorted out.

Given that I'm part responsible for one of the cars BAT is auctioning right now I hope the cause of your suspicious software outbreak has nothing to do with BAT.

IIRC they had issues with this a few months (maybe more) ago. I remember my computer advising not to continue when I tried to access the site.

Shit, I've been there a couple times this week on both my MacBook and iPad...
Never noticed anything weird or got any messages though, so hopefully I'm ok.

At least on my computer, an ad that looked like a warning popped up. Something like "Upgrade your software".

I have. No problem at all on my computer and phone, but I don't have a Mac and do have an ad blocker on the computer.
